Atlas Ward Structures is currently working on the largest single distribution centre in the UK for St Pauls Developments Plc.
The project, based in Rotherham, is being co-ordinated by Main Contractor Bowmer & Kirkland.
Atlas Ward, the North Yorkshire based fabricator has designed, fabricated and erected in excess of 6000 tonnes of structural steelwork and decking for this development.
The project consists of two buildings, the smaller one covers an area 410,000 sq ft and weighs in excess of 1700 tonnes, and the larger covers an area of 710,000 sq ft and weighs in excess of 4300 tonnes.
In total the Rotherham distribution project covers a vast area in excess of 1.1 million sq ft. |
